That Lady

Cadence was sitting in my lap while I was watching the videos to post on the blog. She watched a video of herself and she saw her teacher. She said, "Not again!" I had no idea what she was talking about. Then she pointed at the screen, "That Lady!" I then realized she was talking about swimming. She LOVES to go under, but when her teacher makes her "swim" aka pushing her under the water to me. She does not like it. Today is the last lesson, it will be interesting to see if she lets that lady make her swim.

Swim Lessons Day 8

The girls went down the water slide today.

Baby Cadence had a great time going under. She also really enjoyed telling me, "You first, you first!" Then she would blow in my face and I would go under.

Swim Lessons Day 6

We are in our second week of swim lessons. We went home for the weekend and came back this morning. Here are a few videos Grammy took:

Election Time

Lyric walked up to me tonight with a piece of paper in her hand, "Hi ma'am, I was wondering if you would like to vote?'

"Sure, I would like to vote. What are my choices?"

"Well, there is going to be a president. You can vote for me, Obama, or John McCain."

"I definitely vote for you!"

If it were only that easy!

Goose, Goose, GOOSE

Tonight we were having a family movie night. Cadence lost interest and started walking around the room touching us all on the head saying, "Goose, Goose, GOOSE!" Of course, our movie night soon changed courses with the girls all running around the room chasing each other. Story tried to teach Cadence the proper way to play, "Cadence, it is Duuuuck, Duuuuuuck, Duuuuuck, GOOSE!"

Box Heads

While we were at Grammy's Lyric went next door to play with the neighbor kiddos. They hooked her up with a new box, so of course sisters had to have one too.

They had a blast playing with these silly boxes! Story had one too, but chose not to be photographed.

Playing With Cousins

Lexi, Logan and Leah came over to play today. The had a good time swimming in the backyard. I only took a few pictures, but these of the little ones were too cute not to post!

Swim Lessons Day Three

No storms today. We were able to get our whole swim lesson in.

Lyric practicing with the kick board. Story practicing "Superman" arms. Baby Cadence about to go under. We blow in her face before dunking her, so she loves to blow in our face. I think she actually enjoys making me go under more than going under herself.

Uncle Billy, Aunt Kendra and the boys came over for supper tonight. We decided to try to get a picture of all of the kiddos on the slide together. It worked out amazingly well! Everybody yell, "Hooray!" Even Baby Wade could do it.Cadence did a little reading to herself when everyone was gone. She has been around Grammy and her reading glasses too much lately. She had the sunglasses on, but was probably having a hard time seeing the book, so she decided to push them up on her head.
