This morning when I woke up I was still really hurting from the complications with the birth. I'm sure I was very hormonal too. I started to cry telling Devon I didn't think I was ever going to get better. He was being so sweet telling me it was going to be okay and remember how it was all worth it because now we have this sweet baby. Cadence was laying in bed next to me. She asked," Why is Mommy's tummy as big a it was?"
Devon and I just looked at each other and laughed. He asked if that made me feel better:-)
Today we spent some time on the screened in porch. Cadence narrated this video of the baby.
Pamela came by to check on the baby and Lyric happened to be holding her at the time, such a good big sister!
