Christmas in Texas Part 3- More Fun at Mimi J's

Last year when we visited Texas it was freezing, so we went out for hot chocolate.  This year it was about 80 degrees, so we went to the park and went out for frozen yogurt:-)

Uncle Trent took us to a park where he and Zayden like to feed the ducks.  Unfortunately, the lake was pretty much gone and so were the ducks:-(  That's what happens with a Texas drought!

 

We didn't get to feed the ducks, but they did have a great playground.

I had a pretty good time watching Uncle Trent try too keep up with Zayden making sure he didn't fall off this huge contraption.

Let me just say, I think Zayden had much more fun on this thing than Uncle Trent did:-)

Story Bell loves the monkey bars!

Z had a good time on the monkey bars too!

After the park we went out for yogurt.

After a fun day, all four of the munchkins took a dip in Uncle Brandon's tub.  Good times!

Fun at Cheekwood

Mimi J is in town visiting, so we decided to take her to one of our favorite places, Cheekwood.

Story decided to invite her boyfriend, Chess.  Here she is posing with him.

 The girls LOVE running around and exploring the water.

 I was really surprised the girls agreed to pose on this rock wall!

 They were also happy to pose in the gazebo.

 We had a great time and enjoyed a picnic while we were there.

Happy Birthday Mimi J

Mimi J celebrated her birthday today, so Miss Lyric made her a cake in the Easy Bake Oven. She decided to go with chocolate. She melted chocolate chips and spread those over the top, then she put chocolate chips on top of that. I hope Mimi J likes chocolate!

I told her she should just put one candle in it because it is so small, but she decided to go with eight. She and Story spent the night with Mimi J last night, so they all enjoyed a 'bite' of cake.

Sun Visor

The girls made some cool sun visors with Mimi J this week.

Cadence's was decorated with her name until the girls decided to decorate it with the extra letters. If you look closely you can still see her name in there.

Story kept breaking hers by pulling the cord off of the back and Cadence kept eating hers, but they looked pretty darn cute wearing them!
